XR AirJet Sample Coolers

FTS Systems
XR AirJet Sample Coolers

The XR AirJet Sample Cooler, available in -80C or -40C configurations provides sample temperature control for NMR, EPR and X-Ray diffraction using a mechanically refrigerated, temperature controlled air stream. House compressed air is utilized for the air stream and no expendable refrigerants are required. When dry air passes through the AirJet it is cooled by the mechanical refrigeration system and provides a precise regulation of heat input to control the temperature of the air stream.

This design approach creates a temperature stability of +/- 0.1C. Longer delivery lines allow the positioning of the refrigeration system at a greater distance from your sample area, particularly important for NMR applications.

KEY FEATURES

  • -80C or -40C to +100C temperature range
  • Small footprint – can be rack mounted if required
  • 8, 15 or 35 ft (248.84, 457.20 or 1066.80 cm) non magnetic delivery line
  • Flow rates 1 scfm (28 lpm)
  • +/-0.1C temperature stability

KEY BENEFITS

  • Save lab space with small footprint
  • Eliminate need for expendable refrigerants and the difficulties associated with delivering expendable refrigerant to the sample
  • Excellent stability, accuracy and repeatability.
  • Nonmagnetic longer delivery line allows use with NMR magnets
