10 cu ft ICH Stability Chambers - Temperature and Humidity Controlled

SP Scientific Reach-in Temperature Humidity Controlled Stability Chambers are constructed entirely from Stainless Steel, inside and out. The Temperature Humidity models are fully ICH compatible and have a range of 2°C to 70°C + 2°C uniformity throughout the chamber and 20% to 96% RH + 5%.

Hotpack models 10HR and 10HA are high quality, high performance Temperature and Humidity Controlled Stability Chambers, built to exceed the exacting standards required by such regulatory bodies as ICH, TAPPI and MIL Spec.

The Temperature and Humidity controlled Stability Chambers are constructed from 304 Stainless Steel, with the exterior surface painted as extra protection. The interior is unpainted allowing easy cleaning and draining when used in high humidity conditions. Each unit is supplied with 4 solid stainless steel shelves which locate into 4 pilasters, and these serve to hold the shelves rigid and bear the load of the samples being tested. There are 10 available shelf positions to allow high density testing if required. The Hotpack 10HR Temperature and Humidity Controlled Chamber has refrigeration and an operating temperature range of 2°C to 70°C, while the Hotpack 10HA Temperature and Humidity Controlled Chamber has no refrigeration and operates between 35°C and 70°C. A full performance envelope is shown below.

A microprocessor based PID controller allows extremely accurate temperature and humidity performance and ensures that the chamber performs well within the specified test limits. The controller also has user settable over- and under- temperature and humidity limits and audible/visual alarm systems which alert the user to events such as power interruptions or out-of-specification excursions.

The key to uniformity in any Temperature and Humidity Controlled Stability Chamber is the airflow, which ensures all parts of the chamber are constantly supplied with conditioned air at the correct temperature and humidity. The horizontal flow and pre-conditioningdesign ensures there are no hot or cold spots anywhere in the chamber, which would destroy the critical balance of temperature and humidity. Also the gentle nature of the airflow ensures that all test areas are fully conditioned, regardless of chamber loading.

A wide range of optional accessories is available for the Temperature and Humidity Controlled Stability Chambers including access ports, PC interfaces, dehumidifiers and chart recorders.
