High Imbalance Capacity

Although samples should generally be loaded to balance as far as possible, some samples evaporate unevenly and will cause imbalance during the evaporation process.

This is particularly noticeable when drying purified fractions from HPLC or LC/MS processes.

The HT systems will operate safely with imbalanced loads of up to 85 grams. EZ-2 systems can handle up to 40 grams imbalance. The Rocket accommodates 50 grams imbalance.

A safety switch will shut the system down in a controlled way if this limit is exceeded. A visual warning will appear on the LCD display.
